Virgin Mary in Barcelona. Seedlip green with tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and salt, coffee and chocolate powder on the glass - delicious!
Seedlip Green is also great with tonic - fresh and flavourful with garden pea and botanicals. A real alternative to gin.
I dont understand why this is such an expensive drink. I do quite like them but the price Is off putting when its essentially a posh cordial. I’d rather just have the fever tree tonic on it’s own and save 3-4 quid on the seed lip…which is what it typically seems to cost.
I know what you mean when it comes to buying it by the bottle as it has a short shelf-life (around 1 month), but I don’t mind paying that much in a pub. I suspect the price is reasonably high because it is as complicated to make as gin even though it has no alcohol but I’d rather be able to buy it in smaller bottles so that I don’t end up throwing half of it away when it’s lost its flavour after a few weeks.
