A sober Sunday session calls for a great lager. This is not a great lager but it’s good enough for today. While it has reasonably complex flavours of hops and flowers – what the makers call it’s “aromatic components” – I found that it had a sour aftertaste that detracted from the other flavours. It’s made by the people who make Estrella, so there’s a wealth of beer-making experience behind it. I think it could do with a bit more body, but it certainly isn’t a bad offering.
